pop-aganda: revolution and iconography (april 2022-2023) -- translator & assistant
exhibition at the mattress factory. worked with russian & american artists, helped organize travel in russia. translated texts for the exhibition. interpreted russian-english during discussions. participated in performance with one of the artists.overview article on wesa pittsburgh
publication with chto delat’ school of engaged art (august-september 2022) -- translator and contributor translated, contributed to and assisted in publishing zine, documenting the 2022 anti-war movements in
2022 Russia and life in an artist-run commune formed as part of such movements.

-washed photos of home from personal archive as a meditation on how new places erase and change memories, hung paper to dry in a manner similar to the way georgians hang washed clothes
-placed the resulting liquid (water, washing powder, printer ink, paper) in a bottle, once containing georgian saperavi wine

forest university (march 2023) -- artist, co-curator, and educator
organized participatory public art workshop, allowing attendants to exhibit a collectively constructed public art object as part of the exhibition. co-curated the discussions and the exhibition, maintained its horisontal structure. with participants from russia, belarus and ukraine funded by the european union.matters of concern, vol.1 & vol.2 (november 2023-ongoing) -- curator, artist
this project consists of two parts for practical reasons. each part may be exhibitied separately, however, it is best viewed as a whole.introduced collaborative format. invitied participants to print linocut works based on their personal and political concerns. project based on the works of bruno latour. created at björkö konstnod with financial support by swan.

transit zone (fall 2023-ongoing) -- curator
a public space in a (historic) bus stop near st. petersburg, russia, which i am remotely curating. focused on combatting gentrification and holding free exhibitions and workshops for locals. transit zone is organised with art-molodost’, an independent ngo. my responsibilities included finding an approach to the space, curatorial work with the artists and public, overall design guidelines, exhibition and poster design. for the story behind the space, as well as its first exhibition, click here (under construction -- ongoing)
