a. this section is part train schedule, part audio archive, all privilege checker.
2022 is the year of unwilling travel. since we’re all going to be doing some moving around for awhile, why not keep a simple log of places i’ve been to?
i also thought that calling my sets “inter-city express” would be a nice nod to kraftwerk, the very reason i got into dj-ing in the first place.

q. highest blood pressure since 2o11 -- why?
a. 2011 was the year i started drinking coffee in the amount i do now (1000-1500 ml a day).
“coffee, music and cycling are all part of a single system” is a sentence i wrote after 5 cups of coffee. i’m not proud of it. let us not go full meta in analyzing what part of this sentence is more pretentious -- the initial “sincere” text, the sarcastic devaluation of self, or this admittance of awareness that you are reading now, also somewhat sincere. but i really am sincere in saying that
1. i play best when caffinated
2. i wouldn’t play at all if not for sumbling upon a few specialty coffee shops back in the day
3. specialty coffee leads to fixie culture, which only further fuelled my love for electronic music, if not music in general
4. st.p used to be the best for all three of the above. i hope someday to be back there and say that it still is.
