an ok spot to buy beans. not the best one to drink in, though. quality of brews varies drastically between visits. very posh. “i like to live a good life and drink good coffee in pretty rooms”-type of posh. if you’re looking for a place to buy good-lookin’ and expensive coffee equipment -- this spot sells fellow kettles and grinders. minimalist twenty-somethings with (parents’) stable incomes come as part of the decor.

the single best cup of coffee in tbilisi as of 2023.01.31. simple menu, tasty treats, good selection of beans. be aware that this may not be the place to go and work in, as there isn’t too much space inside. located on a lovely street with some tables outside, though.
update: no more treats, and the coffee noticably declined in quality.

yet another place full of modnicks. a bit better that shavi when it comes to brewing coffee, has a nice selection of baked goods. do keep in mind, however, that you (or i, for that matter) aren’t cool enough for a place like this. like, totally, come on.
