most places on this list offer vegan options and are dog/pet friendly. all are good for different reasons.

velvette brew
standard cup of coffee on 5th avenue in brooklyn. filter is bearable/good, cold brew is pleasant. beans not roasted as dark as most us coffee places. i still need to try the milk-based drinks. this is not 100% specialty coffee (no alt roasts), but the baristas know their eq-pt well enough to make drinkable liquid.
hungry ghost was kind of ok, but i wouldn’t reccomend it enough to put it on this list
